KEYSTEP PRO TESTING GEAR

Geeks like me appreciate the way many companies today improve upon designs from one version to the next, in addition to regular firmware upgrades, adding more functions, even years later. Arturia the Beatstep, a midi/cv sequencer/controller, then the Beatstep Pro added more tracks, including drum sequencer track. The KeyStep combined a step sequencer and midi/cv control keyboard, with arpeggiator functions... It was inevitable that they finally managed to mash together all the best bits, resulting in the 4-track, polyphonic Keystep Pro... Anyone who's familiar with the Beatstep Pro can easily imagine a polyphonic keyboard version, with more tracks and outputs. I didn't expect to have so many midi / cv options for standalone sequencing, with all of the functions I use in Ableton as well. For anyone who's tired of working with the computer, the KSP is perfect for nearly all types of hardware. I only got through about 2/3 of the functions - there are more than enough creative options for recording, sequencing, editing and arranging. It's time to get off the computer screen and back to the keys!!
