Welcome Toon a glass of?
Yes, please just water is ok.
How was your childhood environment, where it was?
Like normal kids, I was easy and enjoyed my childhood. I am native from Bangkok.
Your first approach to BMX?
I saw BMX on TV. And one day, I was riding my bike to the bikeshop near my house and I saw one guy doing flatland trick on his bike. At that time, it made me feel impressive to discover the Time Machine trick.
Can you explain us how was the BMX scene in 2000 and how it is today compare to when you start?
Ok, sure. The year 2000, here in Thailand, was the good time for BMX scene. Many riders came to ride together and meet at the meeting point every weekend. Sometimes they were riding all night. For motivation, they give updates and show new tricks to each other every week. To compare from 2000 and today, many riders glow up and they have their own ways, then less riding for them. But I still keep riding until now.
How is BMX perceived in Thailand?
BMX is small community here. Luckily, some parents are open-minded on this kind of sport. They let their kids try and have fun with their small bikes. It's something good.
What year and how did you meet Alexis Desolneux, what did you learn from his extensive experience?
Actually, I watched him from video parts like "Intrikat infinity" and first time I saw him in person was in 2012 at BMX World, Cologne Germany. That time, he started Heresy BMX brand already. And we have talked about the product a little bit.
Who inspired your riding and can you explain your philosophy for making new tricks?
Martti Kuoppa, a flatland rider from Finland inspired me. He is my flatland coach too. I just ride and feel an angle possible, then I try again and again. Sometimes, my new tricks come in mind then I do another thing.
Why and when did you launch doublecontrolbmx.blogspot.com?
I started doublecontrolbmx.blogspot.com way back 2011, because I want to give updates about BMX flatland and connect with riders accros Thailand. I'd like to talk about new parts, riding spot, riders’s new trick, travel to contests and organize Double Control Flatland Contest. Nowadays, I post my updates on Facebook and via my Instagram. Riders can order spare parts from my website. Ordering abroad can sometimes take a long time. Since BMX flatland community is small here, my sales are slow.
Your best trip memory?
All of my trips are good memories. I was one of the 16 riders who got invited to join at the Redbull Circle of Balance 2022 in New Orleans - USA. Life time Memory indeed.
Can you talk about your daily routine, are you vegan?
Easy: Eat – Ride – Sleep! I am not vegan.
Do you listen to music while riding? What kind music?
Yes, I'm riding with music. Sometimes I'm using Marshall Willen Speaker. I'm listening to musics like « Do it » by infraction or more into classic pop music like the song of Madonna, « Like a Prayer ».
Are you interested in DJ and graffiti culture? Do you have any people you'd like to introduce us to?
Yes, I'm interested in Dj and graffiti movement. I have a friend call Alex Face who is doing nice graffiti and I following up on his work.
Your projects in 2026?
Keep riding and inspire kids about flatland. Thank you very much for this interview.
